MISTY:

I like doing the skits too. I don’t know, I just feel like I’m in shoes and I can think like them so I can understand them better. It’s sort of like being an outsider and be like, “Oh, why did they do that?”

MAX:

So, can you give me an example of whose shoes you feel like you were in?

MISTY:

Yesterday we were doing about what was that, the abuser? Why do they abuse, sort of? So, I was the abuser’s friend and I had to turn a blind eye to what he was doing. Before, I was always like, “Oh, why did they even support that friend, he’s like no friend at all.” But when I put myself in their place, now I’m like, “Oh, he’s my friend, so I have to support him.” and I can feel sort of power? Kind of? It’s bad, but I kind of feel powerful like, “Oh, I can make them feel inferior.” Sort of.
